Kenya Highlands University’s Scout Association, alongside their patron and Director Kipkelion, Mrs. Jane Langat, spearheaded a successful tree-planting initiative that brought together not only students but also respected leaders from the local community.
In attendance were the , Acting Chief, Assistant Chief, and the Village Manager — each of whom took part in planting trees and encouraging a spirit of unity and environmental stewardship. Their presence served as a powerful reminder that change begins when institutions and communities come together for a shared goal.
The scouts and leaders rolled up their sleeves, dug into the earth, and planted trees across the Kipkelion farm. The event was not only an effort to beautify the campus but also a long-term investment in fighting climate change, improving air quality, and creating a greener learning environment.
The event marked a living testament to what can be achieved when students, educators, and local leaders work hand in hand for a better tomorrow.
