Governing Council Message

The Governing Council warmly welcomes you to our institution. As the highest policy-making organ of the University, the Council is entrusted with the responsibility of providing strategic direction, oversight, and stewardship to ensure that the University fulfills its mandate of delivering quality education, research, and community service.

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic excellence, integrity, accountability, and transparency. The Council works closely with the University Management, staff, students, and stakeholders to strengthen institutional governance, enhance learning resources, and create a conducive environment that nurtures innovation, leadership, and character development.

Our goal is to ensure that the University remains responsive to societal needs by offering relevant programmes, promoting research and innovation, and producing graduates who are competent, ethical, and capable of positively transforming their communities and the nation at large.
