Kenya Highlands University (formerly Kenya Highlands Evangelical University) is located in Kericho County just three kms West of Kericho Town. We are next to Kericho High School and overlook Kisumu Road. The campus is always green because of the regular rainfall we experience on the highlands.
Kenya Highlands University is a chartered institution having received its Charter in March 2011. The University is a Christian University sponsored by the Africa Gospel Church but admits students from all denominations who are qualified for University admission. We also admit Government sponsored students through Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) when they choose this university.
As a Christian University, we take the Word of God very seriously in that it is central to all our pedagogy. The educational philosophy of the University is founded on the basic premise that all truth is centered in God, expressed through His revelation and demonstrated through His people.
At Kenya Highlands University, real teaching kicks off on the second day after opening. We do not waste any time. Our lecturers are deeply committed to their work.
