Collaboration, Linkages and Resource Mobilization

The office of Collaboration, Linkages, and Resource Mobilization under the leadership of the Director was established by the University Council in August 2021. Key functions are as follows:

  • To serve as a link between the sponsoring church and the university.
  • To recommend to the University Management collaboration and linkages with interested institutions.
  • To mobilize resources for the university among others.

Rev. David K.Maritim – Director of Collaboration, Linkages and Resource Mobilization.

To help do the work well, there is a Collaboration, Linkages, and Resource Mobilization committee consisting of 7 members. This committee draws members from the faculty and staff of the University. Its primary duty is to provide strategic advice and support to the University Management on optimal corporate strategies and policies for core and non-core resource mobilization, initiate and recommend relationships with partners based on trust, and participate in the negotiation and signing of new partnership agreements among others.

Collaboration and Linkages with other institutions are so crucial. No university can exist in isolation. When universities collaborate in joint ventures, they generate synergies that can offer better solutions to the world’s glitches.

Collaboration and linkages provide a huge number of opportunities for students, staff, and universities in partnership alike. Along with research opportunities and cultural awareness, institutions offer local and international experiences, including exchange programs. Partnerships lead to breakthroughs in knowledge, free exchange of ideas, and enduring bonds between universities.

We sincerely treasure all the universities and organizations in partnership with Kenya Highlands University. May God Almighty continue to bind us together with love and cords that cannot be broken.
