KHU Welcomes New Students as 2026/2027 Academic Year Begins

Very early in the morning, We came alive with a hive of activities as we welcomed our new students for the 2026/2027 academic journey.

From the early hours of the day, the University grounds were filled with excitement, anticipation and hope. Parents and guardians travelled from far and wide to accompany their daughters and sons as they took an important step towards their academic and professional futures.

For many of the students, this was more than just a reporting day. It marked the beginning of a new chapter—a journey of discovery, learning, friendship, personal growth and preparation for life beyond the University.

At Kenya Highlands University, we believe that university education should go beyond the lecture halls. Our commitment is to provide a conducive environment for learning, quality training and holistic development.

As a Christian university, we are intentional about nurturing students academically, spiritually, socially and to produce Christian professionals.

We believe that knowledge is most meaningful when it is accompanied by character, integrity, responsibility and a sense of purpose.

Our students therefore join a community where they are encouraged not only to pursue academic excellence but also to discover their God-given potential and prepare to make a positive difference in society.

We were pleased to see students move through the various stages of reporting, admission with ease. The University teams worked diligently to ensure that students and their parents received the necessary assistance and guidance.

By the end of the process, all students who reported had been successfully admitted and settled into the University.

This achievement reflects the University’s commitment to putting students first and ensuring that their transition into university life is as smooth and welcoming as possible.

Behind every student arriving at the University is a parent, guardian or family member who has made sacrifices to make that journey possible.

Some travelled long distances. Others woke up early to accompany their children. Many came with excitement, questions and expectations about the future of their sons and daughters.

To all our parents and guardians, we say thank you for trusting Kenya Highlands University with your children.

We recognise the responsibility that comes with this trust. Your sons and daughters are not merely students to us; they are young people with dreams, talents and aspirations. We are committed to walking with them throughout their University journey.

INTAKE ONGOING.
