Intake

Kenya Highlands University (KHU) offers multiple intakes throughout the academic year for various programs, including certificates, diplomas, undergraduate, and postgraduate degrees.

Application Process:

  1. Online Application:
    • Visit the KHU Online Application Portal.
    • Register for an account by providing your email address and creating a password.​
    • Complete the application form by entering the required personal and academic information.​
    • Submit the application and await further communication from the admissions office.​
  2. Manual Application:
    • Download the application form.​khu.ac.ke
    • Fill in the required details.​
    • Attach copies of your identification card, academic certificates, transcripts, and two passport-size photographs.​khu.ac.ke
    • Pay the application processing fee:​
      • Masters: Ksh. 1,500
      • Degree: Ksh. 1,000
      • Diploma: Ksh. 500
      • Certificate: Ksh. 300
    • Submit the completed form and attachments to

Admission Requirements:

  • Master’s Programs:
    • Second Class Upper Division or Second Class Lower Division with at least two years of relevant working experience.​
  • Degree Programs:
    • Minimum grade of C+ in KCSE or its equivalent
    • Diploma with Credit from a recognized institution.
    • At least two years of experience in the respective profession
  • Diploma Programs:
    • C- (minus) and above in KCSE or a Certificate from a recognized institution.​
  • Certificate Programs:
    • D+ and above in KCSE
