Corporate Social Responsibility

Kenya Highlands University (KHU) demonstrates its commitment to corporate social responsibility through various community outreach initiatives, particularly involving its nursing students. A notable example is the free medical outreach organized by Immanuel Africa Gospel Church (AGC) in Kericho at Matobo Primary School, Ainamoi Constituency, Kericho County. This event was made possible through the generous sponsorship of the church and the collaboration of partners such as AGC Tenwek Hospital, South Rift Hospital, Siloam Hospital, University of Kabianga, and Radio Injili. KHU extends heartfelt gratitude to these organizations and the volunteers who contributed their time and resources to make the initiative a success.

At Kenya Highlands University, collaboration and service are integral to creating positive change in communities. The Department of Nursing plays a pivotal role in reaching out to various areas through community outreach programs, forming a significant part of the university’s corporate social responsibility efforts. These initiatives not only provide practical experience for students but also address pressing health needs in underserved regions, embodying KHU’s dedication to making a meaningful impact on society
