We had a successful session of engaging prospective students, graduates, and young professionals during a highly impactful Career Talk held today at the South Rift Digital & Innovation Hub in Kimawit, Bomet County. The session was officially opened by our DVC in charge of academics Rev. Dr. Paul Lokol on behalf of our Vice Chancellor. The event brought together young people eager to gain valuable career guidance and explore opportunities in higher education.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who attended and actively participated in the session. Your enthusiasm, insightful questions, and desire to shape your future made the event both interactive and memorable.
One of the highlights of the day was the participation of the Deans from all five schools of Kenya Highlands University,Dean of students and director of Post Graduate studies. Each Dean took time to introduce the academic programmes offered within their respective schools, providing participants with comprehensive information on career pathways, admission requirements, and the skills needed to excel in today’s dynamic job market. The discussions helped students understand how to align their passions, talents, and career aspirations with the right academic programmes.
Beyond showcasing our academic offerings, the forum emphasized the importance of making informed career choices, embracing innovation, developing digital competencies, and preparing for a rapidly evolving world of work. Participants were encouraged to pursue excellence, remain resilient, and take advantage of the many opportunities available through higher education.
The event also reinforced Kenya Highlands University’s commitment to transforming lives through quality, Christ-centered education, innovation, research, and community engagement.
