Nursing Council of Kenya Inspection

Our Vice-Chancellor Prof. Joseph Kiplangat received visitors from the Nursing Council of Kenya who are in our University for an inspection exercise and to check compliance for the Nursing program we started. The day 1 of the exercise was a success. We thank God for the positive report we received based on the documentation and facilities we have put in place to support the program.

The Nursing Council of Kenya is a corporate body established by the Nurses and Midwives Act Cap 257 of the Laws of Kenya to regulate standards of Nursing and Midwifery Education and practice. In Kenya, the nursing and midwifery workforce plays a vital role in health service delivery and patient care.

At Kenya Highlands University, Our Vice-Chancellor confirmed to the team that we are committed to working with the Nursing Council of Kenya for compliance to ensure that the program is successful as well as also the quality of our graduates in the program.
