It was a great honour for Kenya Highlands University to be part of the National Tree Planting Day in honour of those who were affected by the floods as directed by His Excellency president William Samoei Ruto .
At Kenya Highlands University grounds, Our Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics, Research, and Student Affairs)-Dr. Paul Lokol; University Chaplain- Rev. Philip Ketter; Academic Registrar- Ms. Jeniffer Keino and our Students welcomed a team led by Madam Christine Moraa Oketch on behalf of the DCC Kericho East Sub County, Sub County Commander Kericho East- Mr. Peter Mutuma (SSP); Sub County Criminal Investigation Officer- Mrs. Rodah Kanyi HSC (SP); Mrs. Wilkister Alao-Assistant County Commissioner Kericho East; C.I Lilian Kangogo- Deputy C.I.P.U Commander Kericho East; Area Assistant Chief (Township Sub Location)-Mr. Weldon Cheruiyot; Huduma Kenya- Kericho Branch officials, and Police officers from Nyagacho Police Station participated on planting exercise.
