Our Vice- Chancellor Prof. Joseph Kiplangat, together with the Deputy Vice- Chancellor Rev. Dr. Paul Ekal Lokol, attended the East and Southern Africa- Institute for Excellence event, which began on 22nd -25th April 2025 at Corat Africa, Nairobi, Kenya, by MESA Global. The event focused on the theme ‘High-Impact Collaborations and partnership for effective Theology Education in Africa’. This has come at the right time as we look forward to receiving students and launching Kenya Highlands Seminary on 5th May 2025
Mesa Global was founded in 1940 on the idea of bringing people together by Ohio Pastor Dr. Sydney Correll and his wife, Helen, who established a Bible School to equip church planters and pastors in Cuba. They had a vision to see Cubans go as missionaries to Latin America. The organization has grown until 2024 when the United World Ministry and Overseas Council adopt the name Mesa Global to advance its unified mission of equipping leaders globally. The session was indeed impactful on how Governance, partnerships, and collaborations with international organizations, leveraging on Technology to support collaborative teams, and how to collaborate with Key stakeholders in achieving effectiveness. We look forward to more collaboration with institutions and organizations for mutual growth as well as to achieve the vision and mission of Kenya Highlands University.
