Prof. Joseph Kiplang’at currently serves as the Vice Chancellor of Kenya Highlands University (KHU), located in Kericho, Kenya. He officially assumed this role in October 2024, bringing with him extensive experience in higher education leadership. Prior to his appointment at KHU, Prof. Kiplang’at held significant positions at Moi University, the Technical University of Kenya, and Africa International University, where he served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor.Prof. Kiplang’at is a Professor of Information Science, with a distinguished career in academia and research. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Information Science from Moi University. His research interests encompass Information and Knowledge Management, Digital Humanities, Internet for Education, Research Methods, and Open Standards and Systems Interoperability .
