AMIS Upgrades

Kenya Highlands University marked a stamp of authentication on its current student/staff management system – AMIS. With the support of the ICT department the institution was able to fully and legally acquire the management system through a contract signing of a software development agreement done by the vendor/developer Kichwen Service Limited and Client/users Kenya Highlands University (ICT Director – Mr. Joseph Koech & Vice Chancellor/CEO – Prof. Wilson Lang’at). The Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Robert Lang’at served as the prime witness in this process.

This Software Development & Consulting Services agreement would now ensure that user’s both students and staff would receive the full range of system module features of AMIS including modules that will greatly facilitate operations in the following departments;

  1. Admissions
  2. Academics
  3. Accounts
  4. Library
  5. Dean of Students

Aside from these critical upgrades to the system, the AMIS system with due process shall be accessible to students/staff online everywhere across the globe.
