Today, our Ag. Vice Chancellor Dr. Daniel Ngeno and our DVC -Prof. Robert Langat led faculty members in gracing the first Year’s orientation. This marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey in the university following their enrolment for May 2024 intake in our university.
The event commenced with a spiritually enriching devotion led by Rev. Philip Ketter,the university chaplain, focusing on the significance of life values as outlined in Philippians 4:8.
The Dean of Students, University Counselor, University Nurse, Quality assurance, Heads of Departments and Assistant Registrar addressed the students in key areas for their attention.
Our DVC Prof Robert Langat inspired the students to embrace knowledge exploration which shall help them in discovering their talents through lectures, reading and respectful interactions. He encouraged the students to pursue their dreams boldly and foster independence while respecting parental guidance.
The Ag. Vice Chancellor Dr. Daniel Ngeno brought the occassion into its climax during his address by providing a comprehensive overview of the university structure, historical background, core values and academic priorities, emphasizing the Academics and spiritual nourishment that is given at Kenya Highlands University.
He shared on key issues touching on; Spiritual,Programs on offer, Communication, Infrastructure,Security and finalized by wishing the newly admitted students a good start and good ending of academics at Kenya Highlands University.
