
Earlier today, we had the distinct honour of welcoming Dr. Florence Mungathia, the Director of Institutional Development and Brand Management, along with Madam Lucy Kiana, the University Librarian from Africa International University (AIU). Their courtesy visit to our Vice Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Kiplangat, marked a significant moment in fostering collaborative relationships between our institutions.
During her visit, Dr. Florence Mungathia had and opportunity to share a sermon during our Thursday chapel service where she captivated our university community with an inspiring sermon focused on “The Importance of Revival ” She explored key dimensions of revival, emphasizing the importance of engaging our heart, soul, mind, and strength in this vital journey of Revival. Her thought-provoking sermon resonated deeply with all attendees, leaving them inspired and motivated to reflect on their personal and collective paths toward revitalization.
Following the inspiring session, Dr. Florence and Madam Lucy engaged in fruitful discussions with our Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor; Administration and Finance, Professor Robert Langat, Deputy Vice-Chancellor; Academic Affairs, Research, and Student Affairs, Rev. Dr. Paul Lokol and our Director Linkages and Resource Mobilization, Rev. David Maritim.
The conversations were centered around developmental initiatives and potential collaborations that could enhance educational outcomes and community impact. As a university, we take immense pride in this visit and the opportunity to engage with such esteemed representatives from Africa International University. We look forward to strengthening our partnership and working closely together to advance our shared mission of academic excellence and community service.
