Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) Training

Kenya Highlands University hosted Prof Fredrick Ngala-PhD, MBS, OGW from Kabarak University for three days that took our academic staff through a transformative training session on the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) as we align our curriculums. This training is a key step in equipping our lecturers with the necessary skills and insights to effectively implement CBC principles in our classrooms. By focusing on learner-centered approaches, practical skills development and holistic education, the training underscores our commitment to producing well-rounded, competent graduates who can excel in today’s dynamic world.

The sessions led to insightful discussions and collaborative learning, enhancing the capacity of our faculty to foster innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and values among students.
